Born and raised in the beautiful island of Trinidad, Margaret embarked on a life-changing journey in 1970. Alongside her beloved mother and sister, she migrated to the United States, bringing with her a vibrant spirit, an unwavering work ethic, and a heart full of dreams.
Their American journey began in New York, followed by a move to Philadelphia, before finally settling in Miami, Florida. It was in Miami where she truly planted her roots, creating a warm, nurturing home and dedicating herself to raising her three children through their high school years and into adulthood. Her children were her proudest achievement and her greatest joy.
Margaret lived by a simple but powerful mantra that she constantly shared with those around her: “Live life to the fullest.” She embodied this philosophy every day through her infectious energy, her love for dancing, and her ability to find joy in the everyday moments.
She was happiest when surrounded by her friends and her cherished grandchildren, whom she played an instrumental role in raising. Her grandchildren will forever remember her unconditional love, her wisdom, and the countless memories they shared.
To know Margaret was to know true generosity. She was a pillar of strength not just for her family, but for anyone in need. She was always willing to help others, offering a listening ear, a helping hand, or a place of comfort without hesitation. Her legacy of kindness and selfless devotion will live on in the hearts of the countless lives she touched.
